NUWARA ELIYA

Nuwara Eliya   is  a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka . SRI DALADA MALIGAWA

The sri dalada maligawa or the temple of the sacred tooth relic is a temple is a temple in the city of kandy in sri lanka.it was builk within the royal place complex which houses the only surviving relic of Buddha, a Tooth , which is venerated by Buddhists. The relic has played an Important role in the local politics since ancient times and it’s believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Which caused the ancient kings to protect it with great effort.

ACTIVITIES

Morning leave for kandy, the picturesque hill capital visiting a tea estate and factory enroute. Sightseeing and shopping. Evening visit the Dalada maligawa the golden roofed Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic of The Budda. Overnight kandy.

DAMBULLA

Another cultural heritage site holds sway in Dambulla, which houses elaborately carved Buddhist cave temples with numerous statues and murals. Initiated by king valagamba 1 , the cave temples of Damulla arecnot only an oasis for seekers of serenity but also the perfect spot to take in the picturesque view of the plains below.

Morning leave for 5 c. sigiriya Rock Fortress. After lunch return to Colombo via Kurunegala.
