Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, our friendly GSL representative will be there to greet you and assist with all necessary arrangements. From there, we’ll transfer you to Anawilundawa Wetland, a key birdwatching destination.

Transfer to Anawilundawa Wetland (1-hour drive approx.)

Bird watching in Anawilundawa. A man-made wetland constructed in the 12th century this sanctuary is located on the western migratory bird route. It is home to abundant bird life, including waterfowl, as well as mammals like mouse deer, wild boar, and civets. Reptiles and amphibians such as water monitors and geckos are also commonly sighted.Enjoy the tranquility of this scenic sanctuary, ideal for photographers and nature lovers.

Transfer to Nawadankulama (30 minutes’ Drive)
